Chainsaw Warrior is based on the classic 80's Games Workshop boardgame. Placing you in control of the titular Chainsaw Warrior, a cybernetic soldier, who must lay waste to a zombie-infested Manhattan to prevent the apocalypse.
And we got our cyber-fingers on an early play through over at Auroch Digital Studios today…
Very much a pastiche of 80's action-movies, this ultra-tough roguelike pits you and your formidable arsenal of weapons against ‘The Darkness’. As the last action hero you have one hour to battle your way through a tenement of terror to terminate ‘The Darkness’ and close the spatial rift forever.
Along the way you'll encounter all manner of traps and predators, eager to paint Chainsaw Warrior's innards across the walls. It's fast and it's unforgiving, but who said saving the world 80's style would be easy?

Those Chainsaw Warrior System Specs make it incredibly accessible to all PC owners, and that's cool. It's refreshing to see playable new releases, after those giant AC4 and Watch Dog system requirements announced earlier. It's even got a light weight download amount making it a good option for those paying for their monthly download bandwidth.
If you want to feel good about your PC being able to play a modern PC game then head over and check that your rig can run Chainsaw Warrior's System Requirements.
