Paradox International have announced a follow-up to their 2012 turn-based strategy title Warlock: Master of the Arcane.

The sequel Warlock 2: The Exiled is due for release in Spring 2014.

In the new game, players will find themselves exiled from Ardania – the realm that was the setting of the first Warlock – and forced to exist on a shard of the shattered world. Here, they will have to content with a host of mages, mythical creatures and other Big Nasties to fight their way back through the “shards” and reconquer Ardania.

The game will include a multi-player mode, which will allow gamers to play PvP as well as Co-op PvE.
