NetherRealm Studios hugely successful superhero fighting game is set to land its first punch on PC this month, and we've finally got the system requirements that will let you see whether your system's Flash Gordon or a damp squib.

Lets take a look at the Injustice: Gods Among Us system requirements...

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Minimum System Requirements

OS: 32-bit editions of Windows 7, Windows 8, or Vista

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHz

RAM: 2GB system memory

HD: 21GB of free hard disk

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS or AMD® Radeon™ HD 3850 and above

DX: Direct X 10

NET: Multiplayer will of course need constant internet access

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Recommended System Requirements

OS: 64-bit editions of Windows 7, Windows 8, or Vista

CPU: Intel Core i5-750 2.67 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz or better

RAM: 4GB system memory

HD: 22GB of free hard disk

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 6950 or greater

DX: Direct X 11

Ok, these system requirements don't look too demanding at all; based heavily on the Mortal Kombat engine used in this summer's PC reboot you rest assured that if you got NetherRealm Studios previous fighting game working to a tee then this should also be a doddle.

Down at the minimum end you'll only need the tried and trusted GeForce 8800 GTS and above to get this one up and running, and the dual-core processor is most definitely on the lower end of the scale. Of course it's worth bearing in mind that frame rate is more important in fighting games than almost any other genres, where split second delays can be the difference between victory or being the victim of a gruesome fatality, courtesy of Superman. Be prepared to jam those graphical effects down lower if you want to get the game running as smoothly as possible.

It's also worth noting that the fighting genre is an area where a gamepad is most definitely recommended, possibly above and beyond the Xbox 360 controller which lacks somewhat with the quality of the inputs on its directional pad.

So overall, not too demanding a game, which is good news for DC fans, who can look forward to pummelling Batman as Superman, something not many games can offer.

What do you make of the system requirements?

Will you be picking this title up for your fighting game fix?

Let us know below!

Cheers ANKITZZ for noticing the specs!

Ugh, everybody run and hide, the Batman fanboys have found their way to GD...Batman is probably the single most over-rated comic character ever. I mean seriously, he's just a rich kid with anger issues, and his only joy (or at least the Batman equivalent of joy) comes in the form of pummeling anyone he happens to find breaking the law. And apparently it's alright that, as a grown man, he dresses in crazy skin-tight costumes, followed often by his young boy sidekick...not weird at all right?

Not at all. I don't actually dislike Batman either, I just find it annoying when people have this god-like image of him, as though somehow in an actual honest fight he could beat the likes of Superman. The truth is very simple, Supes would destroy him before Batmans brain even registered the fact that they were fighting....

You just don't know him well enough. The world needs a Batman. You sound just like a member from the COD haters bandwagon. So I'll just ignore what you said.

Meh, not exactly a COD hater to be precise, but at the same time I honestly don't understand how it manages to be so popular. At most they make one game out of 3 that is actually worth playing, and different enough to be considered something new to the series.
And again, not a Batman hater, just not a worshiper either. I do, however, find it quite amusing that he claims to be all about justice and stopping crime. Meanwhile, he himself casually breaks a wide array of laws on a daily basis. It's the classic double-standard, superhero style :P

That's like saying, if a police man breaks the law to protect people then he deserves to go to jail. Bottom line, if he were real, he'd be protecting us.

Well you're probably right, but at the end of the day if I'm gonna have to find protection and hide behind a superhero, I'd feel a whole lot safer with Superman. I mean Bats would save me, but I'd probably end up captured and beaten first, but Supes is way too much of a boy-scout for that to ever happen :P

Over 20 gigs of HDD space for this, seriously? Unless an actual live-version of Wonder Woman pops out of my PC, that is a ridiculous amount of space to require. Arkham Origins takes less space than that, and I can't imagine why Injustice needs more.
