Ok, these system requirements don't look too demanding at all; based heavily on the Mortal Kombat engine used in this summer's PC reboot you rest assured that if you got NetherRealm Studios previous fighting game working to a tee then this should also be a doddle.Â
Down at the minimum end you'll only need the tried and trusted GeForce 8800 GTS and above to get this one up and running, and the dual-core processor is most definitely on the lower end of the scale. Of course it's worth bearing in mind that frame rate is more important in fighting games than almost any other genres, where split second delays can be the difference between victory or being the victim of a gruesome fatality, courtesy of Superman. Be prepared to jam those graphical effects down lower if you want to get the game running as smoothly as possible.
It's also worth noting that the fighting genre is an area where a gamepad is most definitely recommended, possibly above and beyond the Xbox 360 controller which lacks somewhat with the quality of the inputs on its directional pad.
So overall, not too demanding a game, which is good news for DC fans, who can look forward to pummelling Batman as Superman, something not many games can offer.
