Another year, another opportunity for Codemasters to deliver a finely tuned simulation racer. F1 2019 marks the 10th anniversary since Codemasters took over the franchise and made it into the giant that is today. This time around there's a greater emphasis on graphical fidelity than ever before, as well as revamped night races, improved weather effects, and even deeper levels of realism on offer.
And we're back on the starting grid for another year of Formula 1 hijinks. F1 2019 makes some impressive improvements to weather effects, environments, car and track detail, enabling a greater sense of graphical fidelity than ever before. On top of this, night races have been given an overhaul to deliver vastly improved levels of realism and environmental detail.
AMD has pushed out a new Radeon graphics card driver just in time for F1 2019’s launch day. The AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.3 GPU driver provides official support for Codemasters’ F1 2019 as its headline feature, as well as the usual array of fixes.
Codemasters has dropped the first proper in-game trailer for the upcoming F1 2019, building up some hype before it launches at the end of next month.
Another year, another official Formula 1 game from Codemasters, with F1 2019 Anniversary Edition celebrating the sim racing series' 10th anniversary under Codies' stewardship. This year sees the inclusion of F2 for the first time, as well as all the usual improved visuals and updated rosters. Codemasters has taken the wraps off of F1 2019, going one step beyond this year by announcing it’ll be out two months earlier than usual.
