Mortal Kombat 11 has received its second PC patch. It certainly needs a few, so this would ordinarily be something to be nice and excited about. Unfortunately, it comes with a major caveat - Mortal Kombat 11 PC Patch 2 breaks support for the recently released 60 frames per second mod. Boooooooo.
In our Mortal Kombat 11 PC performance report, we discovered it was a game that runs decently, but not without its fair share of problems. Most egregiously, the frame rate is capped to 30 frames per second at certain times, such as Fatalities, Fat Blows, cut-scenes, and menus. It’s really quite inexcusable in this day and age, but lucky a modder has already cobbled together an MK11 mod which removes the 30 FPS frame rate lock.
Mortal Kombat 11 came to PC yesterday evening, day and date with the console version, which is certainly something we could get used to. MK11 on PC is a game with a few teething problems but overall it runs great.
There’s no rest for the wicked as AMD kicks off this week with yet another new graphics card driver update. The Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.4.3 GPU driver comes packing support for Mortal Kombat 11, which is out today on PC.
We’re now less than a week away from tearing people’s faces off, stomping on their eyeballs, and playing their rib cage like a xylophone. It’s Mortal Kombat 11 time.

NetherRealm Studios has dropped a trailer revealing Kotal Kahn for Mortal Kombat 11. He’s a relative newbie to the MK universe having debuted in Mortal Kombat X but Kotal Kahn is, nevertheless, a beloved brute, all-around baddie, and possessing the superhuman strength to match his superhuman pecs.
Netherrealm Studios has released a story trailer for Mortal Kombat 11, teasing a Mortal Kombat tale that’s going to disappear even deeper down the rabbit hole with allies past and present called on to protect the Realms from the new big baddie, Kronika.
You’ll have to do your best 'shocked' impression when I tell you this but…. Johnny Cage is in Mortal Kombat 11. I know, it knocked me sideways when I found out this bombshell as well.
NetherRealm Studios has delivered quite a few fatalities to PC gamers over the years, although they’re promising it won’t be the same this time around when Mortal Kombat 11 comes to PC.
