That lot at MachineGames know how to put together a stone-cold killer of a game trailer, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s E3 2019 footage is an ultra-violent tour de force.
In just under two month’s time, we’re being treated to a brand-spanking new Wolfenstein courtesy of Youngblood, and the first ever co-op title in the long-running shooter series. It’s sounding as if PC will be the place to play it as well, with Bethesda and MachineGames hopping into bed with Nvidia for some exclusive graphical goodies like DXR-powered real-time ray-tracing and Nvidia Adaptive Shading (NAS).
Wolfenstein: Youngblood could be shaping up to be much more than a fairly rote co-op version of MachineGames fantastic soft reboot of the shooter series. Executive producer Jerk Gustafsson has been chatting about what’s in store for Youngblood in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, revealing some surprising comparisons with a Bethesda stablemate - Dishonored.
Bethesda has sprung a surprise on us, revealing a really quite fantastic looking new story and gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, the upcoming co-op Nazi-slayer from MachineGames and Arkane Lyon. On top of this, we don’t have long to wait either - Youngblood is launching on July 26th.
