Gearbox’s upcoming Borderlands 3 has been developed in conjunction with AMD, hopefully ensuring the co-op loot shooter will run in tip-top condition on AMD Radeon and Ryzen hardware.

Borderlands 3's Epic Store exclusivity is set in stone, but now we've got a brand spanking new 'announce' trailer to go along with it. Look, we know the game was announced last week but let's just play along with Gearbox for now.

UPDATE: As if it ever needed confirming, a newly-leaked promotional trailer for Borderlands 3 has confirmed the Epic Store exclusivity on PC. Steam branding is conspicuous by its absence as publisher 2K/Take-Two have opted for the shiny pile of Epic cash.

It’s a game that’s been rumoured for so long it didn’t exactly come as a surprise when it finally happened, but Borderlands 3 is the real deal and it’s coming within the next year.

As expected, Gearbox unleashed the world premiere of Borderlands 3 during a PAX East live stream yesterday evening.

Gearbox’s Pax East live stream is gearing up to arrive any minute now, with the reveal of Borderlands 3 almost certain to take place.

UPDATE: Gearbox has been teasing a Borderlands 3 announcement for longer than we care to remember, but it’s all coming to a head tomorrow during a showcase at PAX East.

Despite last week’s Walmart leak suggesting a Borderlands 3 announcement was imminent, Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 3 will not be shown at E3 2018 in any form.

Uh oh, Walmart Canada’s put its foot in it now. The nationwide store put up dozens of pre-order listings for new games on its online store yesterday, including plenty of games that have to even be announced.

Gearbox is looking to a  hire a writer for an "unannounced AAA FPS/RPG hybrid with strong characters and a central narrative thread." Hmm, I wonder what that could be…

By now Borderlands 3 is the industry’s worst kept secret. It’s like the anti-Half-Life 3. We all know it’s in development but Gearbox refuses to go ahead and announce it. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has fanned the flames with a fresh comment during the PAX panel, admitting to the assembled throng of fans that 90% of Gearbox are working on the thing “most of you guys want us to be working on”. At last, Aliens: Colonial Marines 2 confirmed.
