Dragon Ball games have certainly had their ups and downs over the years. For every Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 there was a Dragon Ball Final Bout waiting in the wings. 2015's Dragon Ball Xenoverse was undoubtedly one of the great ones though, particularly for fans of the franchise. Clearly it did something right as well because Dimps is back with a sequel. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 promises to expand on everything players loved about the original with improved visuals and support for up to 300 players online at any one time.
To a select segment of the community, Dragon Ball titles are received with fever pitch excitement. Everyone else tends to wonder what the heck is going on, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse looks liked it could be the most promising entry point yet for new fans. Keeping track of the hundreds of TV episodes and manga novels can pretty easily become a full-time job, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse is set to ease fans in with an all-new tale based on a custom-created avatar.
