It wasn’t very surprising to hear that Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement to life, but it was surprising to see that it was taking a lot of gameplay elements from typical modern-day looter shooters. Thankfully, a rep from the studio announced that there will be no microtransactions present, and that the gameplay is not at all planned to be a 'games as a service' title, so yippee to us!
UPDATE: Square Enix and People Can Fly have unleashed the first gameplay from Outriders, meaning the first ever footage from a confirmed next-gen console title. Outriders is coming to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One later this year.
Leather lovers, it's time. TT Isle of Man is back and representing one of the most infamous and dangerous sporting events in the world. TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 features  the full 60km-long Snaefell Mountain Course, 17 additional tracks, 18 motorbikes and plenty of famous faces. For most of us, racing that track is nothing but a pipe dream. Luckily, this digital version is a much cheaper, less life-threatening second-best. TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 has been announced. It managed to give us the slip last December but developer KT Racing has this week revealed it's partnered with top notch riders to bring us the most realistic sim of the iconic Isle of Man race.

Calling all folks with shockingly poor taste and money burning a hole in their wallet - G. Skill has revealed its Trident Z Royal Series of DDR4 memory for the, er, more discerning clientele. This rather naff and no doubt expect memory series features aluminium heat spreaders polished with silver or cold, as well as a crystalline RGB lightbar with multiple different lighting zones so you can create your very own disco inside your PC.
The busy folks at Milestone are back with yet another racer. Ride 3 follows in the tracks of Ride 2, having taken 2017 off to revamp the series' third outing. Ride 3 will be the most feature-packed game yet in the motorbike racing series, offering over 30 tracks and more than 230 unique bike models, both contemporary and historic. Before you start testing that hog out for size though, be sure to give the Ride 3 PC system specs a once-over.
Prolific Italian racing game studio Milestone has announced that motorbike racing simulation series Ride is back for a third outing. Ride 3 will be launching on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, moving the series to Unreal Engine 4 for the first time.
BattleTech will be blasting its way onto PC in less than a month, Paradox and Harebrained Schemes have announced. Their turn-based tactical mech combat game will be touching down on April 24th for PC and Mac, with a Linux release due at a later date.
BattleTech has been flying so far under my radar it's barely registered as a blip. Until I laid eyes on it that is. From the tantalising duo of Harebrained Schemes (Shadowrun) and Paradox Interactive, BattleTech just screams hardcore tactical strategy. It's a turn-based mech combat game at heart, one in which MechWarriors can be customised down to the smallest nuts and bolts, while terrain, position, weapon selection and special abilities all must be mastered in order to outplay your opponents.
