If you’ve at all been following the recent news of PC hardware and more specifically with graphics cards, you’ll probably have heard of the insane amount of stock shortages for the new RTX 30 series GPUs from Nvidia. Well if you’ve been trying your hardest to buy one in the UK, then a recent statement from ASUS says that you can expect stock levels to rise soon.
Xbox seems to be teasing the release of a new Halo game tomorrow morning, and by the order they’re going in, that will be Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary have been released on PC.
The next-gen console launches are increasingly looking in peril after a number of unforeseen factors have possibly been affecting both the manufacturing and the costs. Bloomberg is now reporting that Sony is running into significant problems with the PlayStation 5, claiming manufacturing costs have now risen as high as $450 per console, raising the gloomy spectre of a prohibitively expensive next-gen console launch.

In what’ll as immensely good news to anybody who had the unfortunate task of playing Need For Speed Payback - EA has confirmed Need For Speed Heat will not have any form of loot boxes whatsoever.
UPDATE: Aaaaaand, the results are in. The UK Gambling Commission has been busy with an inquiry into whether surprise mechanics loot boxes constitute gambling and, well, it's either good news or bad news depending on your love of loot boxes.
