Well it’s looking like it’s going to be a Star Warsy December for all this year. With the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story set to be hitting cinemas on December 14, it looks like us gamers will have another date to set in our calendars. The new Star Wars: Battlefront DLC Rogue One: Scarif will be hitting us on the 6th of December for Season Pass holders (as well as a X-Wing VR Mission DLC to boot) while us non season pass holders will get our mitts on just the Scarif DLC two weeks later.
Star Wars: Battlefront is set to release exactly 7 weeks from today, and the beta is just next week, on Thurdsay. Under development by DICE, famed for the Battlefield and Mirror's Edge series, as we all know. It appears though it was touch-and-go there as initially DICE wanted to refuse developing this game.
Aaaarrrgghhh so excited. Star Wars: Battlefront is releasing later this year, 17th November, but some lucky Stormtroopers have early private Alpha access for game engine tech testing to help the developers with their debugging.
We’ll be getting a world first trailer of Star Wars Battlefront tomorrow, but ahead of the reveal at this week’s Star Wars Celebration in Aneheim, California, backstage photos have leaked out of posters for DICE's multiplayer shooter.
DICE executive Patrick Bach has expressed his mixed feelings about the development of Star Wars: Battlefront.
Star Wars Battlefront is not going to be Battlefield 3 or even BF4 re-skinned but it will be a complete reboot of the much loved series that modded its way out of the original Battlefield games.
Free Radical recently revealed that the much anticipated Battlefront 3 was 99% complete before being cancelled by LucasArts.
