A good rule in life is that good things come to those who wait. And bad things, but that’s just par for the course. State Of Decay 2 probably exists somewhere between these two states, offering a co-op survival sequel which perhaps didn’t kick on from the original in the way most had hoped.
Both Nvidia and AMD have released new graphics card drivers.
Today sees the arrival of one of Microsoft's unsung first-party heroes. State of Decay 2 is much like the original game but bigger, better, and a whole lot easier on the eyes. It still carries that distinctive low-budget whiff, but State of Decay 2 isn't a game devoid of charm. It's a survival management game at heart, pitting the player against hordes of zombies while running a home base and ensuring your inhabitants don't fall foul to the slack-jawed hordes.
There are still a good few weeks left to go yet, but Microsoft and Undead Labs have taken the wraps off of State of Decay 2’s launch trailer. It’s all gameplay. Glorious, bloody gameplay.
The upcoming State of Decay 2 may not exclusive to the Windows Store if a recent PAX East demo is anything to go by.
With just over a month to go until the game’s ready drop, Undead Labs has released gameplay footage taken from State of Decay 2’s latest build. The open-world zombie-theme survival zombie game features plenty of marked improvements over the original, while still maintaining the base building and community elements that helped it stand out from the crowds of like-minded zed-slashers.
We're in gaming drought territory, ladies and gents. But what better way to haul yourself out of this than with a brand spanking new game. Far Cry 5 launched earlier this week to rave reviews, and we've got a copy to give away to a GD'er. The winner will be able to pick from PC copies of Far Cry 5, Total War: Thrones of Britannia or State of Decay 2.
State of Decay 2 will not feature any microtransactions, developer Undead Labs has confirmed. It’s a bit of a sad state of affairs that this now qualifies as news but, well, welcome to 2018.
Microsoft has announced that its co-op open-world action game from Undead Labs, State of Decay 2, will be launching on May 22nd. Best of all though, it'll be launching at a budget-price of $29.99, which is either a hint at its production values or signaling Microsoft's intent to drag people kicking and screaming into the Windows Store. For those after some co-op hijinks it's looking very impressive indeed, but what about those all-important system specs? Here are the system requirements for State of Decay 2 on PC.
Ye Olde Bookestore Amazon appears to have leaked the release dates for Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2, two of the biggest Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusives due out in 2018.
Microsoft’s slate of upcoming first-party titles is vanishingly small, but at least the ones that do exist show a degree of promise. State of Decay 2 has been getting a little long in the tooth, cropping at various press conferences for a few years now, and it’s now been delayed yet again to Spring 2018. To help make up for the disappointing news, Microsoft and Undead Labs have revealed a new 4K gameplay trailer showing the four-player co-op survival game running on the newly announced Xbox One X.
