Nintendo capped off its pretty fine E3 showing in blockbuster style, revealing a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development for Nintendo Switch.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the world of Nintendo, you’ll have seen The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has entered the pantheon of the all-time greats. It's out today and becomes the joint-second highest scoring game ever on Metacritic with an average of 98, and the highest scoring title ever on OpenCritic, also with a 98. That’s based on an average of 53 reviews, with the overwhelming majority giving Breath of the Wild a perfect 10/10. After an eternity of waiting, Nintendo has at long last reveal The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Originally announced as The Legend of Zelda Wii U, Breath of the Wind is coming to both Wii U and Nintendo’s upcoming NX console. It’s touted as being the largest Zelda game yet, with a vast open-world waiting to be discovered.
