One of the biggest surprises of 2020 that has everyone excited is the new voxel-based heist game Teardown by Dennis Gustafsson. It’s a fully destructible world with an interactive environment that you can manipulate all you want to create the perfect heist. And now we know when it is officially releasing.
The term VXAO likely isn’t familiar to many of you. The first I’d ever heard of it was when it was added to Rise of the Tomb Raider in the same post-launch update which pumped in DirectX 12 support. VXAO is a term coined by Nvidia, and is an Nvidia technology, much to the chagrin of AMD. It stands for Voxel Ambient Occlusion.
