World of Warcraft may be one of the most popular and iconic video games of all time, and with the latest expansion that just released, Activision Blizzard released a statement announced that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is now the fastest selling PC game of all time, shattering their own record previously held by Diablo 3.

World of Warcraft’s latest expansion was recently delayed due to technical issues, and was pushed back to an unknown date to address them and work on polishing the entire experience. Now Blizzard has revealed the new official release date for Shadowlands, which will now be launching on November 23rd.

Last week we reported on the official PC system requirements for the recently announced World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, which ended up requiring an SSD for the minimum specs. This obviously confused a lot of people as SSDs are generally listed only under recommended specs, and threw off quite a few players.

The ever-popular fantasy MMO World of Warcraft will be getting it's latest expansion in October with World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Shown off at the recent Gamescom 2020 Opening Night Live event, the newest expansion brings a whole new region, and certainly looks very pretty.

Blizzard has taken the wraps off Shadowlands, the eight expansion pack for World of Warcraft. You know the drill by now - World of Warcraft: Shadowlands introduces a massive new land new land to explore, comprised of five zones, and the soft reset we saw with Battle for Azeroth continues. Sylvanas has slain the Lich King, taking his powers and opening up a portal to the afterlife, which is where Shadowlands will be set.
