EA didn't surprise us with yesterday's Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville announcement but the release date definitely did take us by surprise. PvZ: Battle for Neighborville is out right now in early access form, with a full launch planned for October 18th. It's more of the same manic multiplayer third-person shooter action, this time with a whole lot more of everything. One of the worst-kept secrets, Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville has been officially announced. It's flying very low under the radar right now, but Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is sprouting in a week's time. The last one was an under-appreciated gem, and was a great third-person shooter take on the eternal battle between walking foliage and the undead.
