Ubisoft has finally announced when Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be coming to PC, announcing a November 19th release date. This is roughly a month after the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, which arrive on October 23rd worldwide.
Ubisoft loves pre-order bonus, so it should come as little surprise that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be riddled with them. If you’re willing to stump up the cash ahead of launch you’ll get access to an exclusive set of missions centred around the two Charlies - Darwin and Dickens. The former's proclivity for eating dodos and the latter's for writing literature for the ages is all well and good, but the pair do come with a mighty fine set of facial furniture to admire.
Ubisoft has published a new gameplay demo of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, demonstrating a full assassination mission with Evie Fry. The eight-minute demo takes us through all the different approaches that can be taken for assignments, making use of Evie’s varied stealth-based toolset.
You can tell Ubisoft is desperately struggling for a unique hook for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate; something to frame this year’s Victorian outing and make it stand out from its predecessors. There’s nothing quite as audacious as the ship combat or co-op play to speak of, but it does at least look to house a myriad of improvements to the core systems.
Our assassin this year is Jacob Frye. But for the first time you will actively switch between him and his twin sister, Evie Frye throughout the story. Together they arrive in London, the year is 1869, its the end of the industrial revolution only to find it over run and controlled by Templars.
The rather ace looking Satellite Reign has been confirmed for an August 28th release on PC. It’s a Syndicate Wars-inspired real-time, class-based strategy game set within the confines of a neon-strewn cyberpunk city.
For years Ubisoft have been delaying PC releases just before they were expected to arrive. Its obviously pretty tricky to get a good conversion from the console version of Assassins Creed to Pc, because when they didnt delay their release last year, AC Unity stumbled out of the Ubisoft stable.
In news that will come as manna from heaven for all but the most masochistic Assassin’s Creed fans, Ubisoft has confirmed there will not be any form of companion app for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been announced, and it takes place in London in 1868. Set during the Industrial Revolution, it’s a time of great upheaval and change as productivity goes through the roof. A world ruled by science, medicine, and money.
The gaming world’s worst kept secret is about to be revealed, as Ubisoft hosts a live conference for the latest Assassin's Creed reveal. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the latest in a long line of AC titles, this time taking the globetrotting hijinks to the menacing streets of Victorian London.
A leaked image has revealed the next Assassin’s Creed, reportedly now known as Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, will feature not one, but two playable characters. In a rarity for Assassin’s Creed, one of protagonists in Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be female.
