Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is off with a bang if publisher Activision is to be believed. COD BLOPS 4 has set the record as the biggest day one digital release in Activision’s history, while on PC its day-one sales more than doubled Call of Duty: WWII’s day-one units. It sounds as if abandoning Steam in favour of Blizzard’s Battle.net hasn’t done Treyarch’s shooter any harm at all.
If I were a betting man, I’d put some money on today being the launch day of the best selling game of 2018. It’s Call of Duty time, naturally, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be looking to make the franchise top dog once again. This time around, COD Black Ops 4 will be coming to PC exclusively through Blizzard’s Battle.net, and once you’ve checked out the PC system specs, the one final bit of homework you’ll need to do is ensure you grab the latest driver release.
We are now less than 24 hours away from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 being unleashed on the world. Somehow it’s snuck up on us but we’re zeroing in on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s worldwide release date. We’re close enough for Activision to push out a very premature COD BLOPS 4 launch trailer three weeks ahead of the game’s October 12th launch.
The first Shadow of the Tomb Raider reviews are out in the wild. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest, ranging from a lowly 40% up to a massive 95%, averaging out at 77/100 on Metacritic. If you’re planning on picking up Lara’s latest this week though, then Nvidia’s got you covered with a brand-spanking new GeForce 399.24 WHQL driver release.
Treyarch has dropped a pretty ace looking first gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale mode. Yesterday we got treated to a map overview, today we can see what Blackout looks like in action.
Treyarch has revealed the full map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s ‘Blackout’ battle royale mode. Just as with other major battle royale launches, COD BLOPS 4 Blackout will ship with a single giant map, this time set on a coastal region rather than an island.
Activision has dropped a new 4K trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, showing off its PC-exclusive features. For the first time ever, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PC won’t be available through Steam. It’s coming exclusively to Blizzard’s Battle.net service.
