Its rich, 400 pixels-per-inch resolution shows off every detail, and its Full HD IPS display gives you bright whites and more accurate, lifelike color representation without over-saturation or eye strain. So, whether you’re watching a nature show in Full HD, viewing a portrait set against a true-blue sky, or shopping for shoes in the perfect shade of red, you’ll get an authentic view of whatever you’re looking at.

This phone really is a beast. I love it's looks and the performance is just outstanding.
Battery is great, usually at the end of the day I'm having around 40 to even 60 percent left, which is great. There's only one thing: no SD card slot. It's not a must, but the internal storage can be fulled pretty fast with 1080p videos @60 fps.

I'd say it's excellent :D
I was sure I'm not buying that girly S4 so I was to choose between the Note 3 and this. Note is waaay too big, I sometimes find it troublesome to sit down even with the G2 in my pocket when I'm wearing tight jeans. In fact, S4 wasn't even smaller. It's the same dimensions, the G2 has got bigger screen 'cause it has thinner bezels.
So Note was a no go and I picked this one. Despite the size difference Note 3 was also a slightly more expensive option, so I saved a bit of coin too :P
Back buttons are very convenient too by the way. ;)

Great! Then let me know what you think of this phone when you get it :P
Oh, it'll get 4.4 update sometime in the Q1 2014 if you're ever wondering about that.

I'm no power user but I was getting 50-60 hours with the stock ROM. Since going to AOSP 4.3 I'm still getting 40-50 hours most days. Even my heavy use stretches I get more than 24hours. I'm so amazed by this phone.

how do you figure? samsung made a version of the s4 with the snapdragon 800. considering that the snapdragon 600 in the s4 has only a higher cpu and gpu clock of the optimus g, i would say that 800 walks on it. gsmarena agreed when they tested the the g2.
