Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32GB Review

Great phone. Very fast, no lagging when gaming on it. Very responsive touch screen. Is a finger print magnet though. It's water resistant, light weight, and takes excellent pictures.

I think there's a mistake in specifications… Aren't all processors 8 core that they put in S7 (Correct me if I'm wrong)? For example I have Samsung Exynos Octa 8890 2.60GHz in my SM-935F.

It actually has two quad core CPU's … Quad-core 2.3 GHz Mongoose + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 for the Exynos version… But look at this for the Snapdragon - "Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo" so the Snapdragon is quad core? Correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s7_edge-794

Oh okay I just rechecked CPU-Z and saw that THERE IS 2x4 cores. Weird that they put two different CPU's into one device. Wow, Why.. And yes Snapdragon 820 is 2x2=4 core (https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/820). Again, why

Most of smartphones these days have 2xquad core CPU's and they are presented as octa core phones… It uses the faster CPU for more demanding tasks, while it leans on the slower CPU for normal tasks, so it drains less battery… That's the way I see it :)
