Hmm, I almost have it 1,5 years already and am still happy with the speed…but I don't use my phone that much/intense :D Did you for example check your battery temp, battery health, CPU load etc. with apps like CPU-Z or AIDA64?

Yeah, I guess it's just because I use my PC much more and my PC is so much faster than my phone, that my phone seems so slow.

Well, even my PC is a lot faster than my phone, but that doesn't mean my phone feels as if its performaing slow, so nonsense :P

Hmm, I don't experience any differences between the standard Internet app and Chrome either; do you maybe have too much tabs open? I often see this, people having more than 5 tabs open, not closing them after they're done. Still a big (Android) nuisance, closing apps properly can't be done (so easy).

You know I'm now really curious about your phone's hardware. Why? Because my mother and I have the same phone, but she has a slightly better processor.
Can you (at least) mention your CPU here? Mine > a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 @ 1,00 GHz :D The S3 Mini GT-I8190 (DB8520H (mother)board)

Okay! Pretty much the same device & hardware then :D Eh, but then…your slow phone. Going for a new one within a couple of weeks/months or trying to make it faster? Maybe I can help.

Hmm, sucks! So how's your battery temperature actually under a certain ambient temperature? I think you're already recharging fast due to heavy load, right?

Is it an option to reset your phone to factory settings? Maybe you should look at rooting your phone to delete some 'crapps'? I didn't root my phone but someone else's with Kingo Root; not to optimize, but to gain rights.

Roughly 23c when idle, 30c+ when being used.
When the phone it not being used but is switched on it takes an entire night to drain 1-2% from the total charge. But when I am using it it drains the entire battery in a few hours.

Yeah, that makes sense and is what I expected. My current, idle battery temp = 16.3C @ 16.5 ambient temperature, but I think it's mostly around 25C when used a bit heavily, normal room temperature. So, that's all okay!

I never really checked (because I'm not that interested in phones), but is there actually an app where you can see your running processes & services in detail….so more than just seeing the running apps and RAM in use? Oh, speaking about that, RAM usage on 'idle'? When you tap 'Clear memory', in average it goes back to [..?..] You'd better restart and check this after clearing memory ;) stuck @ 370MB/804MB here
