Samsung Galaxy SIII Review

The S III's li-ion 2,100 mAh battery is said to have a 790-hour standby time or 11 hours of talk time on 3G, compared to 900 hours in standby and 21 hours of talk time on 2G. Built into the battery is near field communication connectivity, which allows users to share map directions and YouTube videos quickly using Wi-Fi Direct (through Android Beam), and perform non-touch payments at shops that employ specially-equipped NFC cash registers.[76] To help minimize battery consumption, Samsung has introduced "Smart Stay", an ability to track a user's eyes and turn off whenever the person is not looking at it. The battery can be wirelessly charged using a special charging pad (sold separately) that utilizes magnetic resonance to produce a magnetic field through which electricity could be transferred.

closing applications take A LOT of time if you don't restart this phone for 1 week, maybe because of the ram usage, it reaches 720/832mb easily even without using any backround applications excepting the strictly necessary ones, this doesn't include facebook, twitter and such things, only the applications needed to run the phone optimally, dunno where all the ram goes to.. a very cool and nice phone but it is way too overrated, overall it is a great phone.. i believe that it is the OS that is poorly made

I've just ordered this phone, and while it was a little expensive (in my country this was 3500 kr which means 600$ for you guys) i am really happy and excited. I hope i will be just as happy in about a week, when it has arrived.

it's a great phone, if you don't mind recharging it everyday
Tip: don't download yahoo, facebook, twiter applications.. they eat a lot of ram, use the browser (chrome is the best in my oppinion)

It doesn't have 4G, the international one which has quad core has no 4G also Mali 400mp could be changed to Mali 400mp4 and international version or GT i9300 should be added to the title

The stats listed here are for the intenational version I think. The USA version has
2GB of RAM
Dual core CPU that is clocked up a bit more for the lack of power compared to the quad core ones.
I also think the storage sizes are not the same as listed here but I can't remember for sure.

Usually you should charge it once every day or two or it'll die : P. In all seriousness though, it should be under warranty if the battery failed. I've had mine for a week and thus far haven't seen any battery-related issues.

Good thing about Galaxy S3 - if the battery dies, just buy a new one and replace it. That's why I like removable batteries.
