Are Acer gaming laptops durable? I'm planning to buy the nitro 5 2019 edition (GTX 1650) and I want to use it for 3-4 years. Should I go for it or not?

Hey Jon, Could you please add AMD mobile CPUs(Ryzen 7 3750H and Ryzen 5 3550H) they seem to be missing on the hardware page. Thanks.

Hey there :) i think It'd be wise if you wait for the GTX 1650 Ti to get released. Asus has already listed some Ti models and i think it would be released sometime during E3, It would offer better price/performance ratio compared to the 1650. I also checked out some of the Asus notebooks with 1650 and they cost around $830 in the US, therefore the 1650 Ti models would cost about $900 or so.

hey bud. Yes I think the 1650 Ti is probably aimed exactly at 1080p for the next few years. it'll be interesting to see what AMD has planned. they'll be revealing their new GPUs at E3 i think. if prices are a problem, it might even be a smarter option to buy a new/used 1060 6gb or an rx 580 / 590 as soon as the newer GPUs are announced / prices fall

Gaming PC build GeForce RTX 3050, Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz, 16GB performance review

This gaming PC performance puts its 3 key components (16GB, Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz, GeForce RTX 3050) as better than 972 games from the top 1000 most demanding games of today. The hardware weak point in this gaming pc is GeForce RTX 3050. If this bottleneck was upgraded, then the number of games (from the top 1000 games list) it could run would increase to 992 at recommended requirement.

The performance of these hardware components is best displayed in relation to the current most popular game, Cyberpunk 2077. To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the GeForce RTX 3050 card will play Cyberpunk 2077 at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 33 frame rate, 1440p can deliver 56 FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 73 frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $2.04, 1440p costs $2.66 and 4K costs $4.52.

2nd most popular game: Assassins Creed: Valhalla - In summary, the best resolution performance for this GeForce RTX 3050 looks to be 1440p. There is definitely a great 1080p Ultra result if that is more your requirement, with it pulling 50 FPS, but you certainly can move up to 1440p where we see it returning 76 FPS on Low 1440p, 65 FPS at Medium 1440p, 56 FPS on High settings and finally Ultra gets 38 FPS.

3rd most popular game: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the GeForce RTX 3050 card will play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 38 frame rate, 1440p can deliver 63 FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 83 frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $1.80, 1440p costs $2.37 and 4K costs $3.92.
