Interesting observation: Some old games have problems with high polling rates of your keyboard/mouse (like NOLF2), so to fix the issues - I have to reduce the polling rate from 1000Hz to, say 250Hz or less. Interestingly, even at 250Hz I notice my mouse not being as responsive/accurate as at 1000Hz (though still a good compromise to be able to play an old game at all) and 125Hz (the old standard) is pretty much unusable. Granted, my 165Hz display unmasks issues like that, compared to a 60Hz screen, but still I thought I'd share.
