I think it's a really terrible time for anyone looking to buy a new system or upgrade...I was thinking of buying something like Ryzen 5 3600, but then the 10th gen Intel CPUs came out and beat it. I'd go for something like the i5 10400f but the problem is the motherboards are too expensive. The other problem is the cheaper motherboards don't allow overclocking(and non-k variants most likely cant OC anw). What should I do if I'm looking for a 300 euro cpu+mobo upgrade( not including RAM)?

Gaming PC build Radeon RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB, Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz, 16GB performance review

This PC with its Radeon RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB, Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz and 16 GD RAM is capable of meeting 362 recommended requirements of the 1000 most demanding games on PC. The PC could increase the number of games it can run at recommended requirements to 810 if it upgraded its bottleneck component, the Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz.

Lets see how well a gaming PC with these components performs on one of todays more popular games, Valorant. To summarise, Radeon RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what Valorant screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 200+ FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 200+ FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $0.36 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $0.47 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $0.79 per frame.

2nd most popular game: Cyberpunk 2077 - Low vs Ultra summary, the Radeon RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB will be a good match for 1080p on Cyberpunk 2077 - Low 90 FPS, Medium 71 FPS, High 48 FPS, Ultra 34 FPS.

3rd most popular game: Call of Duty Warzone - To summarise, Call of Duty Warzone works very well with a Radeon RX 580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB. While it can comfortably perform at 1080p we know it is best served at 1440p resolutions and could possibly go up to 4K with some settings adjustments. Are you after bigger resolution with lower graphics quality or higher graphics quality and smaller res? Because here are a few figures that could help you choose your optimum Low Vs Ultra. 1080p Ultra setting: 55 FPS, 1440p Medium setting: 86 FPS, 1440p High setting: 58 FPS, 1440p Ultra setting: 42 FPS.
