I got one two days ago. The battery life is decent, I couldn't get any of the Nvidia features like gamestream and shadowplay to work, the wifi doesn't connect properly once in a great while, but wow is it fast. It benchmarks just below the android emulator on my laptop. Definitely the best tablet for the money right now.

I want the Google Pixel C tablet that has the nVidia Tegra X1 instead of the Tegra K1. It has better performance and uses less battery. If you don't mind telling… How much did that Shield Tablet cost?

$199 on Newegg + 3 day shipping for $3.99 because why not. I bought it to replace my iPod Touch 5G; I'm completely done with Apple.
Here's a comparison of the two including the original shield because the K1's specs aren't fully listed, but they are exactly the same in that regard. The only real difference between the K1 and original is weight, the case, and LTE support.

Also, the Pixel C actually has a much higher power draw, but a 34Wh battery instead of a 20Wh battery. Its screen has a very long response time, averaging higher than acceptable for even 30fps. I doubt you are buying it for games, but 36ms black-to-white is really slow.

What about the Nvidia Shield Portable? Also, why such the low Storage Space? Only 16GB? Why not have 32 or 64? 16GB is def not enough.
